Daily use ke liye SPF 30 generally sufficient hota hai, jo around 97% UVB rays block karta hai. Higher SPF jaise 50 thoda extra protection deta hai, lekin difference itna huge nahi hota jitna log sochte hain.
Important yeh hai ki sunscreen regularly apply kiya jaye aur 2-3 ghante me reapply bhi kiya jaye. Sirf ek baar lagane se full-day protection nahi milta.
Skin type ke hisaab se sunscreen choose karna bhi zaroori hai — oily skin ke liye gel-based aur dry skin ke liye cream-based products better hote hain.
